Shannon Burgess   
Office Manager/Legal Assistant

Shannon started with the firm in 1991. Her primary duty is office management and administration. In addition she is in charge of scheduling appointments, preparation of revocable living trusts, wills, probates, small estate affidavits. She is also in charge of accounts payable and receivable.

Shannon, and her two daughters live in the Rogue Valley. In addition to being a mother of two young children, she enjoys being outdoors, camping, fishing or just relaxing along the river bank. Shannon's email

Melinda Deffenbaugh  
Receptionist

Melinda has been with the Estate Planning Group since the spring of 2005.  Her primary role is to welcome clients, both in the office and on the phone, making sure any questions are addressed.  She also handles advertising, coordinating seminars, initial consultation letters, and follow-up calls. 

Originally from the Willamette Valley, Melinda has lived in Ashland for 20 years, where she and her husband raised their four daughters.   She enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family. Melinda's email
